Our Mission
Empowerment Starts With Me is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage young women to empower themselves through self-defense. We do this by providing self-defense and personal safety curriculum to girls and young women in partnership with local martial arts dojos, self-defense advocacy groups and women's empowerment networks.
